A small clothing studio working from a converted iron-works outside Porto. Cut, sewn, finished by hand.
Rommestore was founded in MMXXVI by three friends who read too much Berserk and weren't satisfied with the merch. We wanted clothes built like armor — heavier than they need to be, repairable, honest about their lineage.
We work primarily in heavyweight cotton fleece (460gsm), 11oz canvas, and lambswool. Everything is garment-dyed in small lots so no two pieces share the exact same depth of black.
Hardware is solid brass or YKK metal. Nothing plastic. The buttons will outlive the fabric.
We cut for movement. Our patterns are based on falconry tunics, monastic cassocks, and the long wool coats of medieval pilgrims — re-drawn for the way people actually live in 2026.
The brand is sewn into the lining of every piece, at the C7 vertebra. You won't see it. You will know it is there.
We hand-number every garment 0001 through 0666. When the run is done, the run is done. There is no second pressing.
We list the number on the leather sigil tag and in our register. Send us your number and we will tell you the date it was cut, sewn, and shipped.
Tear it, scuff it, blow out the elbow — write to us. We'll fix it at cost. Re-stitch, re-print, patch from the original cloth. The garment is meant to be lived in.
Send a photograph. Pay shipping one way. We do the rest.
